How do I wire the BP125 Battery Pack?
The BP125 Battery Pack can be connected to a cigarette lighter socket or can be connected to the fuse panel of your car.
Is this Battery Pack different from a regular power bank?
Yes, the Battery Pack is powered by LiFePO4 technology. Power banks are designed as backup batteries for phones and other portable devices. These are usually of the Lithium-ion (Li-on) or Lithium-polymer (LiPo) type. These high density batteries are not suitable for use in an enclosed parked vehicle (where temperatures can reach high and low levels) as they run the risk of causing fire or explosion. LiFePO4 batteries can withstand more extreme temperatures, longer charging cycles and are also more environmentally friendly.
Can I use the BP125 Battery Pack in a truck?
Yes, the BP125 is compatible with 12V and 24V systems.
Can I take the BP125 Battery Pack on an airplane?
In the hand luggage, in theory yes. But as batteries can be sensitive items to take on a plane, you should check with your local operator to be sure. According to the IATA (International Air Transport Association), spare batteries of less than 100Wh can be transported on the plane in hand luggage (the BP125 has 226Wh), so NOT in checked baggage.
