Extended video doorbell

Via the app you can watch recordings, view live images and receive notifications of activities at your door. In the app you can set motion detection zones and manage your recording and camera settings. Thanks to the included local storage, you can continuously record and review recordings, without the need for a cloud-subscription.

You can easily connect the Nordväl SH105 to the existing wiring of your classic doorbell or to your power outlet. This way you record 24/7 so you are always informed about how things are going at home!

Motion detection zones

You can easily set motion detection zones in the app. This allows you to determine which zones matter to you, and when you want to receive a push notification. In addition, you can adjust the sensitivity, and the doorbell itself can distinguish persons from other moving objects. It is also possible to set the recording duration, and set time schedules for when the motion detection should be active.

Leave voice notifications

The SH105 video doorbell includes a crystal clear two-way talk function, this way you can have a conversation with your visitor. Another option is to leave a “not-at-home” message when you want to.

Local storage

Thanks to the local storage feature, the Nordväl SH105 allows you to continuously record day and night for up to 3 days (32GB included). You can expand this to up to 128GB. Using local storage means you do not need a paid cloud storage plan. If you do want to use cloud storage, than you can easily enable a cloud storage plan in the app.

Easy installation

The Nordväl SH105 is very easy to install within aproximately 15 minutes. 
All tools, accessories and instructions are included. The simple and clear instructions will allow most people to get it done in a matter of minutes.

Plug and play chime

The included chime is easily setup and powered by USB. Use the app to choose from 4 available melodies or (temporarily) disable the chime whenever you wish. In this case it will remain silent when the bell is pressed. The push notifications will still arrive on your phone or tablet.

Is the video doorbell powered by battery?

No, this video doorbell requires constant hardwire power supply. Compared to battery powered doorbells, this wired video doorbell has more advanced features, like supporting full day recording, no delay quick response to visitor calls, and smaller in dimension, fitting into narrow door frames.

How to connect the hardwire to the doorbell? Does the cable order matter?

Your doorbell works with both DC 12V and AC 12V – 24V hardwire power source. There are 2 terminal screws on the rear of your doorbell, and you can connect each wire to each connector screw. The cable order doesn’t matter.

I cannot set up the video doorbell to my WiFi network.

1. Device works with 2.4GHz WiFi only, but not support 5GHz WiFi.

2. WiFi signal is not strong enough, try to keep the video doorbell near the WiFi router when setting up.

3. The WiFi password is wrong. Please check if there are special characters in the password, or the network is specially encrypted.

How do I know if I have 2.4G or 5G WiFi?

Please check the user manual of your Router or call the network operator for help.

Does it work with Google Home or Alexa?

Yes. The Nordväl SH105 works with Google voice assistant as well as Amazon Alexa.

Can I only view my video doorbell when I am connected to the same WiFi network, or can I view it over internet from anywhere?

You can view the video doorbell from anywhere, as long as your doorbell is connected to the internet and you have internet connection on your smart device.

Do any of the recordings get saved to the cloud? Or is it mainly saved in the built-in SD card?

It supports SD card recording as well as cloud storage. You can activate the cloud storage service in App.

What happens when the SD is full?

When the memory card is full, the doorbell automatically erases the oldest footage.

Why does it lose connection to WiFi?

Please check the network connection of your smart deviceand the WiFi router. If the network signal is not strong enough, you may need to move your router closer to the video doorbell, or use extender.

Can motion detection be disabled?

Yes. Recording is triggered by detected motions. You can adjust the sensitivity or disable motion detection in the settings menu.

Can I use 2 or more doorbells in the same house?

Yes, you can add more than one Nordväl SH105 at the same house.

Does it support customized Motion Detection Zones?

Yes it does. Go to Settings –> Motion Detection –> Alarm Area. Use your finger tips to draw one or more customized motion detection zones and save your settings, the orange zones are active motion detection zones.

Share your video doorbell with other users

Steps: Settings –> Device Share –> Tap on “ Add ” –> Tap on “ Account” –> Type in account ID –> Confirm Sharing.

Can I connect the video doorbell to my existing doorbell power?

Yes, To replace your existing doorbell and mechanical chime, please follow below installation steps:

1. Shut off power at the fusebox.

2. Bypass your Internal Doorbell Chime with the provided “jumper” wire.

In most cases, the existing doorbell circuit looks similar to the image below. Remove the cover of the indoor chime and loosen the “Front” and “Transformer” terminal screws. Use the provided “jumper” wire to connect the two terminals, and replace the chime cover.

What is the right location to place my video doorbell?

It is suggested to mount the doorbell at least 120 cm above the ground for optimal angle of view and best motion detection performance.

Optional: Use the 20° angle mount as a supplementary mounting bracket, to adjust the viewing angle towards to fit your viewing preference.

I do not have a mechanical chime, can I still use this video doorbell?

Yes, you can hardwire your doorbell with the provided DC12V power adapter.

How long do I have a warranty on my video doorbell?

We provide a 24-month warranty on all our products after purchase (with some exceptions). Unfortunately, we cannot treat products that have become defective due to improper use, fall damage, water damage, etc.

De SH105 video deurbel is eennvoudig te installeren! Ook de configuratie via de app is eenvoudig en snel!

Het grote voordeel van de bel is dat er geen cloud nodig is om beelden op te slaan. Klanten zijn tevreden
